Custometrix: freelance consultant, interim director/manager


An independent consultancy, Custometrix Ltd supplied marketing, sales, CRM and inside sales consultancy services, as well as interim management. Between 2000 and 2005, it had numerous clients including:

As interim CEO, my role was to get it operational, train the staff, acquire first clients from the USA &/or the UK and then to find a buyer for at least 33% of the equity. This was achieved on all counts.


Exports to Japan

mediwrap_logo_export_international-tradeMediwrap is a single-use thermal wrap used in healthcare markets. As interim International Sales Director, my role was to find distributors around the world, negotiate sales agreements and motivate sales.

Initially focussed on Europe and then, by cultivating a strong relationship with a US multi-national, I was able to extend distribution across the USA and as far as Japan. In addition, I opened markets in the British military.



CRM Project Manager at The Travel Corporation. Mapping business processes for global travel business with several well-known brands (Trafalgar Tours, Insight, Kon-Tiki). Implementation of Oracle 11i. Embedding CRM principles (and supplier relationship management) and processes into the organisation.




City & West supply lamps, lighting and electrical fittings to businesses on a wholesale basis across London and the South East. Inside sales team re-energised through professional sales training and development of drive period programmes of activity.



Opal Telecom, a B2B telecoms provider based in Warrington. Telesales training for their outbound sales team.



Workwear and business attire suppliers, Davern are based in March, Cambridgeshire. They asked Custometrix to re-train their their inside sales team to build confidence on the phone and boost sales revenue from existing and new clients. Processes were reviewed as well as bespoke training developed.




French Golf Holidays, based in Essex, provided a long-term service requirement encompassing consultancy, sales and inside sales training.
